Our Story

SunWoven was founded by four parents whose children attend the same school. We became friends through the everyday chaos of raising busy kids, chatting in car parks, along sports fields, swimming pools and at drama rehearsals. Somewhere between the lifts and the coffee runs, we discovered a shared love of sunshine, style and creating something beautiful.

The Spark

Our blend of skills came together naturally. With experience spanning fashion, business, marketing and operations, each of us brought a different strength to the table. What began as a few casual conversations soon grew into an idea we couldn’t let go of.

Initially, we discussed designing kaftans and swimwear. Then, one afternoon, while brainstorming ideas, the concept of the TowelTote appeared. It felt like a lightbulb moment. A towel and tote in one, practical, stylish and perfect for pool days, beach escapes, swimming lessons, and school galas. The idea was too good to delay, so we rolled up our sleeves and began figuring out how to bring it to life.

That was the start of SunWoven, a brand stitched together from friendship, creativity and a love of sunny days by the water.

What’s Next

The TowelTote is the first of many ideas we want to bring to life. It’s a product designed to make sunshine living simpler, easier and more beautiful.
